Laby is a maze puzzle, and that changes how you approach it. Where most cast puzzles hide their solution in geometry, Laby hides it in a path — you can see roughly what needs to happen, you just can't work out the order.

That makes it unusually frustrating in a good way. Progress feels measurable right up until you hit a dead end and realise you've been running the same loop for ten minutes.
